Where do I start? I only make reviews if necessary, and this is absolutely one of those times. My now 1.5-year-old American Bully has been attending Happy Dog for almost a year now. As a first-time animal/dog owner, getting accustomed to the ropes was a challenge. Needing to attend a work trip, I boarded my then-pup at another facility that I believe inflicted harm and fear on my dog.

I immediately searched for a new, loyal daycare to call home, and that's when I remembered that I passed by Happy Dog every day and never looked into them. As soon as we entered, we met Jenny, who inquired about, learned about, educated, and assured me that the standards Happy Dog Daycare sets are ones to remember.

I'm glad to say that my very rambunctious big "little" guy (thinks he's tiny but loves to jump and throw himself on you) and I now call this great team family! His lethal tail and butt get to wagging with excitement, ready to enjoy his best life. We continue to meet great people: my girl Jenny, who keeps me on my P's and Q's; Pete, co-owner, and Alex are such awesome guys; and I can't forget the man, the myth, the legend Jim, the owner. The detailed attention, grooming (my dog has crazy allergies and coat issues who's now soft and silky), daycare and enrichment sessions, love and care, and transparency are the best I've experienced.

My dog and I have known the owner of Happy Dog Daycare for a couple of years now, and he’s genuinely a great guy who really cares about what he does. You can tell he puts a lot into making sure the dogs are happy, safe, and well taken care of. The staff is awesome too. They’re really great with the dogs. Jim and the entire staff treat the dogs like their own. I definitely recommend Happy Dog Daycare to anyone looking for a place they can feel comfortable leaving their dog!

We are so grateful we found Happy Dog Day Care for our four legged child, Dudley! He's a rescue who spent a lot of his life caged, so we were nervous about boarding him anywhere, but Happy Dog has completely put those worries to rest. At Happy Dog, Dudley spends most of his time playing and interacting with other dogs, which is incredible given where he came from. Finding this place and the amazing people there who treat him like he's their own has been such a breath of fresh air.
Our little guy is very small, and the staff is always so cognizant of how he's doing, making sure he gets breaks from the other dogs when he needs them. When we ask for updates, and sometimes even when we don't, we get the sweetest photos and messages that let us know he is happy and loved.
I couldn't recommend Happy Dog enough, whether you're looking for boarding or day care. Dudley loves going for day care too and comes home happily exhausted every time. Truly grateful for this place. Thank you all!

My boy Archer loves this place! I can’t say enough positive things about the staff, services and facilities at Happy Dog. I needed a daycare that stayed open longer hours due to my work schedule and they checked the box. I love that they also offer daycare on weekends! It’s so cute to see his excitement and wiggle butt when he sees Jen in the morning to greet him. He’s had one grooming appt and Alex bathed him and made him so soft and smell so good. Peter is always so warm and friendly and answers all my questions. Jim, the owner, is very dedicated and checks in with me to make sure Archer is always doing well. There are many other staff that I haven’t mentioned but the whole team is fantastic. My dog had his first boarding experience recently and he was provided with such wonderful care and concern, alleviating my worries of how he would do overnight. We are just finishing week one. Mezzo is a (just this week!) one year old hound/beagle mix.
She is enamored with her daycare experience. She went 3 half days this week, the first being an evaluation day to see if she was a good fit.  I loved that we didn’t pay for the first day of evaluation, I thought this was beyond fair.
She is a tired and happy puppy at pick up. She loves the staff and apparently the other “small” dogs. I am a retired dog mom but I don’t have the energy she requires to tire her out daily. She comes home happy, hungry and in need of several naps. She also sleeps well at night.
I will probably try her 2x weekly for half days for a while.
They also trimmed her nails at a reasonable rate.

I've been taking my dog Raylan to Happy Dog for both occasional daycare and boarding for over five years and I would recommend them if you've never tried their services. The screening process is sound and everybody there loves dogs which is crucial to me if I'm going to leave my dog in their care. I don't worry when Raylan is staying there because I trust Happy Dog. Kudos to Amy! I couldn't be happier with my dog's grooming! They gave my pup the perfect haircut—it's neat, even, and exactly what I was hoping for. My dog smells absolutely amazing and feels incredibly soft and silky. You can tell they took their time and truly care about the dogs they groom. The attention to detail and quality of the grooming were outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional groomer. We'll definitely be back!
